AVATAR ROKU
Avatar Roku is the Avatar before Aang and After kyoshi. He is from the Fire nation, and shortly after his death Fire lord Sozin started the war. Though he may not tell it, When Roku was training as the Avatar he was very impatient. Like Aang it was hard for him to learn the Avatar state. He used the solstice to increase his power, but he couldn’t control his powers. Avatar Roku’s temple once lay on the crescent island in the Fire nation, until it was destroyed in the Winter solstice episode. Well Roku was younger he used to be really close friends with Sozin. But he left for many years to train to be the Avatar, a few years after he returned things became strained between him and Sozin. In the end Sozin could've saved Roku before he died, but instead he let him die so he could continue starting the war.
